I have a LOT of fun naming my designs! The original design and naming session happened in Michigan this past summer with my sister and mom coming up with amazing color combinations and names – so fun!

It was then we decided that some of the designs would be named after our dogs – past and present – so as to honor them in some small way. Of course we had to use their nicknames so as to protect their true identity – Ha!!

So here are the leashes and the dogs who inspired them.

Dill Pickle - My family’s bearded collie, Dillon.

Boogie - My lab-mix, Dugan (pictured).

Bernerific – Founding dog, Karma.

Frisbee – My sister’s first rescue dog, Sam.

Bananas - My sister’s rescue German Shepherd, Kona.

At Tugrrrs we believe it takes two to tug™ and interacting with your dog is the key to creating a lasting bond between you. So we have created soft, durable toys and leashes that invite good clean fun with every step.

Julie and her dog, Karma, were “underwhelmed” with the choices in tug toys and especially tug leashes so they took matters into their own hands (and paws). Tugrrrs now offers more than 40 color combinations to suit every style and taste.

All of our products are machine washable. We recommend hanging them to dry but if you put them in the dryer they will survive just fine, the braid just may be a little tighter.

If you don’t see a color combination you like, please drop us a line and maybe we can create something custom for you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Julie & Karma
